Your First Visit to a massage therapist, trigger point therapy, stress relief near Philadelphia and Conshohocken, PA

Your First Visit

During your first appointment, I will ask about your current physical condition, medical history, lifestyle, what type of job you have, stress levels, and any areas of pain. I will ask you to fill out a brief medical questionnaire.

You'll be asked to undress to your level of comfort in private, lie down on a heated massage table, and drape yourself with the sheet and covers provided for you. Only the part of the body being massaged is undraped at any time, and your modesty is respected at all times.

I ask that I have enough room to set up my massage table which is the size of a common dining room table. I also ask that a private area is used and distractions like pets, telephones, etc. are excluded.

Your responsibility during the massage is to give me accurate health information and to report discomfort of any kind: from your body, room temperature, music volume, correct pressure or other distractions. Keep in mind that you have reserved this time as yours for your comfort and relaxation - I need to know how to make it the most productive for your needs.
